Artificia develops externals for Omnis Studio. In addition to the products listed here, we will also develop custom externals.
Crypto External
DES and TripleDES encryption external for Omnis Studio.
- Crypto is an Omnis Studio external which provides encryption of strings and files, using DES (8 character key) and TripleDES (16 or 24 character key) encryption schemes
- To use the crypto encryption external, you will need to download crypto.dll and place it in your Studio/XCOMP directory e.g.:
C:\Program Files\OMNIS Software Inc\OS30\XCOMP\crypto.dll
Crypto is only available for Studio and Windows at this time and is provided as a 6 month time-limited demo.

Crypto Demo Library
Demonstration library and df1 database for Crypto encryption external.
A demonstration library is provided to illustrate encryption of strings and files, with encrypt&write and read&decrypt from a df1 database.
